| My career in the entertainment business
started when I went to work for SHOWCO. They were pioneers in sound reinforcement
for Touring Bands. By the mid-seventies they had evolved into a total package
provider for Touring Bands with the financial resources to hire a company
to supply Sound, Lights, & Trucking for Concerts, Corporate Functions,
and Special Events.
In the Five years that I worked for SHOWCO I was assigned to so many shows and tours, It's very difficult to remember all of them. I went to work for SHOWCO in 1975, and they sent me on my first World Tour a few weeks later. I started as a lighting roadie and became one of a staff of 7 Lighting Designers/Directors before my resignation to go to work for Willie Nelson exclusively in 1980.
